CCC - things with wings


Hey everyone...
Crafty Calendar Challenge blog has a new challenge for you this month and it is super easy...

 Things with wings

We are sponsored by Whimsy Stamps

It has been super warm out so I have been spending some time in my craft room.
Here is my inspiration for the challenge:
the image that i used is from Simply Betty Stamps 
the challenge on FB for Simply B Stamps was to use orange, yellow and black but sadly I didn't have any soft black copics yet... so i had to use blue - but always the optimist the paper went really well.
Here are some close ups 
did some paper piercing (new tool from CTMH) 

i have had that brad around just waiting for a home

and of course the stickles in the wings

challenges that also inspired me:
sweet stamps - flowers
lollipop ladies - nature (bugs)
simon says - atg
chocolate, coffee and cards - fantasy or fairies
polkadoodles - to die for
QKR stampede - any winged creature   
art impressions - use brads

    Really beautiful card! Love your image and the sparkle on her winds! Your coloring is fab even with out the black! Your brad on the twine is a perfect touch too. So glad it found its home! So happy to have you with us at CC&CC! Joanne
