Lmcb hop!

Hello and thanks for stopping by! We're hopping with celebration and excitement this week :) Yep, we're having a blog hop in celebration of our 200th post Lasting Memories! Our challenge? BUTTONS! We are looking for buttons, buttons everywhere on those layouts this week! Along the way, you'll see that some of us are offering a little candy on our blogs but you have to visit us to see who! We've also gotten a little creative with our buttons so we hope you'll be inspired! You should have arrived here from Jane's blog and if this is your first stop, please be sure to hop back to Lasting Memories to start the hop so you don't miss a thing! Each of us has a letter for you to collect that will spell out a scrapbook themed word, so don't forget to jot down my letter which you'll see below. Once you've completed the hop, leave your answer in the comment section back at Lasting Memories. Comments will be moderated so there's no peeking! Then you have to enter your LO and guess what?! Our grand prize winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from A2Z Scrapbooking Store!! Awesome right?? Oh!! And one MORE thing! I'm also offering up some candy all I ask is to follow me and I will use random org to pick the winner...

Now time to reveal my complete layout..

the picutres are of my baby girl at Disney
I made the buttons using my cricut and close to my heart stamps

You don't need a cricut to create buttons... you can cut out circles and stamp them with anything... add some holes with a punch and you are good to go

Your next stop is Karen W blog!! And don't forget to jot down my letter which is R

Have fun and happy hopping!

Two Layouts - close to my heart products

Good morning everyone,

I have a couple of LO's to share.  I have become a close to my heart consultant and I haven't had time to play around but yesterday I was with a bunch of my scrapbooking friends and pulled out two LO a single and a double (sounds like I am talking baseball).
The frist LO I used the elemental workshop on the go package - love the earth tone colours.  The pictures are very old as you can tell that I am still sportin a mullet!!!!  I just love the facial expressions of my daughter.  I would guess the year to be 1994 or 1995.   The journaling is on the tag behind the picture of us with the duck.  All pictures were taken at Chinguacousy Park in Brampton Ontario
I am entering the above LO in the Lasting Memories - Cherish challenge

This one I made using the Roxie collection - I loved playing around with the papers and the stamps.. so much fun.  The pictures are of my daughter and her bf during a trip into TO. They had dinner at the CN tower, went to the hockey hall of fame and finished with a concert to see Blink 182.  I am waiting for her to do the journaling for the page.
A close up of the second generation stamping and pop ups used
the one shows second generation stamping but then I also rolled the corners to give the two tone effect
Second page -waiting for the journaling
The first page - the lattice work was all done by stamps - the clear stamps allows you to place the stamp where you would like it- love this

thanks again for stopping by - sending hearts
