Lmcb hop!

Hello and thanks for stopping by! We're hopping with celebration and excitement this week :) Yep, we're having a blog hop in celebration of our 200th post Lasting Memories! Our challenge? BUTTONS! We are looking for buttons, buttons everywhere on those layouts this week! Along the way, you'll see that some of us are offering a little candy on our blogs but you have to visit us to see who! I made the buttons using my cricut and close to my heart stamps

You don't need a cricut to create buttons... you can cut out circles and stamp them with anything... add some holes with a punch and you are good to go

The picture is from the Cruise that we took a bit ago... it was a storm coming in ... really high waves!  in real life those waves where huge!  They had to close down one side of the decks!

here is my inspiration for you

it was so fun getting messy this week!!

I used ...

mixed those to together to get the paste for the background 

stamped using this set in many different locations

inked edges..

below you can see where i used the paste and a stencil to create the white hearts

if you follow me you will know that I just finished my cousin's baby book and this paper was left over from the pack I was using.  The pics are from a shower I went to a while ago and I just loved the cake!!

Hey everyone!  This weekend is family weekend

My dad is coming by today so I will have a whole day tomorrow to get in some scrappy time!!  Yeah!

This week at lasting memories we have a new challenge for you ...

Love is in the air- use the word love on your layout along with some wings  ( cupid, angle, bird...) and here is my bit of inspiration for you!

My daughter and her friend when to Cuba so I have been slowly putting together a book for her

The trip came after a big break up of hers... so originally I was going to cross off the love and then put in 

friends but I re-though it and you also love your friends!

I fussy cut around the sentiment as i wanted it in the middle of the two pages but then It left the right side with a blank white space... so I got out my markers and made the other side to the flower!

Almost a colour match but not quiet
