1 Fish...

 Good morning everyone,
Usually I give all my items away and awhile ago a colleague of mine was saying that i need to make more things for boys... so I have been thinking yeah... I don't make too much for boys.  Maybe it is because I had a daughter??  who knows... anyway I have been looking for boy inspiration and found it in a couple of challenges.  I quickly made this lovely book mark.  I hope her son enjoys it!
Oh my... i don't think I can live with out my skickles...
The picture didn't pick up the embossing that well... I used the snake skin cuttlebug
I inked around the one fish - using ctmh stamps
I really like how it turned out...

I would like to acknowledge the challenges that inspired this book mark..
Sparkle creations - numbers
Cooking with Cricut - Dr. Seuss
CropStop Challenge - rainbow of colours
shopping our stash - embossing

have a great day!

Oceans of Love

Good morning everyone...

I have some great news... I was asked to be a guest designer at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!!  whooohooo!!! This was a first for me and I am completely honored to have been asked.
Oh my goodness are these fish not the cutest fish you ever did see...
used my snake skin cuttlebug embossing folder for the fins and made the fish with the Animal Kingdom cart.  The tag cut from the Close to my heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cart.  Can you tell I love it!  Almost every paper craft that I have been making lately I have been using this cart!!
I also love the Viva glass pens they are so easy to use
It looks like these little fish are kissing and the heart is right in the middle
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Fantabulous Cricut - label
2 Sister Challenge Blog - embossing
365 cards - #327 shape up
Crafty Sprouts - case the DT
I lifted this card from Scrappy Zeni (thanks for the inspiration)

Gobble

 Good afternoon everyone

Such a beautiful day outside today.  The leaves on the trees have been changing colour over the past weeks and my daughter promises that we will get to one of Hamilton beautiful parks this long weekend!!  This weekend Canada is celebrating Thanksgiving and this long weekend couldn't have come at a better time.

I have a card to share with you that I am going to give my dad tomorrow as he is hosting the annual Thanksgiving feast!!  (minus the potatoes that I will be supplying)

I just love the little turkey!!  Reminds me of a song I use to sing with the preschool children:

(sung to the more we get together)
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
Fat Turkey, Fat Turkey
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
Fat Turkey am I
I am not here for living: I'm here for Thanksgiving
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
Fat Turkey am I

A view of the inside of the card below

I used the Cricut Cartridge Animal Kingdom for the turkey.

I am going to enter my Gobble Card into the following challeges:

Cricut Creative Cutter Room - Time to give thanks
Frosted Designs- Receipe Challenge
