so I am still slowly working on my dd - Cuba trip book and have been trying to get into my craft room not just to complete DT things...

Here is a LO I did for Sarah's book and because the challenges inspired me..

excuse the first photo... wow... I promise I was not drinking when I took it.. lol 

I used the Bo Bunny line - Zip a dee doodle paper, thickers for the letters (rain boots), my one and only large folder to emboss in my cuttlebug and and my cricut for the large circle (art philosophy from CTMH)

Hey everyone!  This weekend is family weekend

My dad is coming by today so I will have a whole day tomorrow to get in some scrappy time!!  Yeah!

This week at lasting memories we have a new challenge for you ...

Love is in the air- use the word love on your layout along with some wings  ( cupid, angle, bird...) and here is my bit of inspiration for you!

My daughter and her friend when to Cuba so I have been slowly putting together a book for her

The trip came after a big break up of hers... so originally I was going to cross off the love and then put in 

friends but I re-though it and you also love your friends!

I fussy cut around the sentiment as i wanted it in the middle of the two pages but then It left the right side with a blank white space... so I got out my markers and made the other side to the flower!

Almost a colour match but not quiet

hope you are having a great weekend - the santa claus parade is happening today but no snow...i want snow... but wait until i have my snow tires on.  Last year we had no snow - really weird for here

 Well here is a fall card until the winter arrives  - it kind of reminded me of an envelope 

 I used Swirl Cuttle bug folder

 bo bunny paper and an unknown stamp... geez i think it was my first stamp set that i ever bought at Micheal's ... love it

Here is my take on the challenge:

The pictures were taken on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy... my baby and I spent a couple of days there while waiting for the cruise.  OH... my... I would go back in a heart beat!!!

I used the richly coloured BoBunny Papers "Olivia nectar" as it went beautifully with the natural colours that are seen in Venice and the sketch from Bo Bunny - (turned with two photos)

 

I love the flowers from flora doodles - petaloo

And the green bling letters from k and company "family words" (see the gondola in the background... sigh)
