Hey everyone...
hope that everyone out there is bloggy land is having a great night.
I have my cousins wedding coming up and they are having a Wedding BBQ meet and greet before the big day with family only.  The wedding will be small and on Thanksgiving weekend but the venue is by the lake so i am hoping for beautiful weather... now to find something to wear.
Any hoo... i made this card for them for the BBQ I know that Sally (soon to be cousin-in-law) loves my cards so I hope that she likes this one!
and some close ups...
above i tried to get a photo of all the embossing
i don't know if you can see it but the heart has small white embossing details...
it looks so much better in person - i love embossing dry and heat!!
oh and i love my cricut... seriously how did i ever craft before having that little pink machine!!

and of course it wouldn't be me if i wasn't inspired by some challenges:
shopping our stash - fav. stampy technique (embossing!!)

Happy birthday!!

Good evening everyone...
I made a quick card tonight to stock up on my birthday cards... you never know when one will seek up on you!!  Now I know it looks purpleish but it is actually a pale blue. I am not sure why it is showing up that colour - weird.... i am still learning about the picasa program plus it is the free version which seems to be OK by me for the moment... any way I am rambling again.   Here is the card - I used Close to my heart Philosophy Cricut cart and Close to my heart Celebration stamp.  The background paper is actually a photo mat from Creative memories that I had in my stash and of course I used some embossing on it.

I went with the CAS style... I seem to be gravitating towards that way.  Little bit of bling is good... too much and I feel like I have clutter on my pages or cards,
some close up of my bling!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Card Crafter's Circle: Challenge - Birthday
Winter Wonderland - birthday
Twisted Cards - sketch

Thanks so much for stopping by and I am sending hearts <3 out to you all!!

Good morning all,
So I have five more cards to make for my supervisors.  I completed one last night...  I trying to branch myself out and monochromatic and all white scare me.  So I thought an all white one... ok I will give it a try.  Still not too sure... I will have to play around more but I am open to any suggestions that you might have.
I would like to put the above card into the following challenges:
Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps - white on white
fussy and fancy Friday challenge - monochromatic and sparkle

first time

The weather is certainly warm out.  I have been busy doing some home improvement duties but managed to get in some scrap time.  I have no pics of the one I am working on but wanted to share my first misting page.
On the cruise Sarah and my dad were up dancing,  my dad having a bit too much fun caused my daughter to go into a laughing fit.

To make the flowers I used the Cricut cartridge graphically speaking, the circle is all mixed up and the letters is Plantin school book.    When I get a moment I will take a picture of the flowers close up so you can see the sparkles from the misting. Today I bought some Stickles and tattered angels glam glitter paint.
Well chat again soon,
Kimberly
