PA

Good evening everyone,
I have been working with my October Scraptastic Club Kit and love every bit of it!  Take a moment to look at what they have to offer you here.  Originally what I loved was that you weren't locked into a year of kits but then after seeing that Jessica gives you two options to pick from with an additional kit you will fall in love with it!
So back to the LO that I just completed with it.  The picture is of me and my PA from 1973 I was the first grand and great grand child and was completely spoiled!
used the following
-minds eye lost and found blossom
Authentique - blissful collection -Happiness

your sweet!

Hello again,
A little bit about myself - I am a manager of 15 child care centres and this christmas I would like to give all my centre supervisors home made cards. With the amount of challenges I have been doing I don't think this will be a problem!!
Here is one that I just made with my cricut. I really don't like the stamp set as it was in the dollar bin at Micheals and I thought hey it's only a dollar. It came with a cupcake, donought, and creamsicle but there is some bleeding and it spots... not a crisp clean stamp. Oh well now I know.

A close up of the stickle effect
 Some ribbon
and of course more stickle :)
And becuase I love Challenges here are the ones that I am entering this card into

Celebrate the occasion: Challenge #34 (Black, White and Red)

Again thanks for stopping by and I am sending out hearts to you all!!!

Survivor

Good morning everyone,
I hope that you are all enjoying your weekend. It is cool and damp in Hamilton Ontario at the moment but I am hoping to have some nice weather. Went to Micheals today and picked up some card stock, a new stamp, halloweeen stickles that were on sale and 4 peices of while fun foam... I am going to make my own light box (well fingers crossed I will make one) here is a picture of the card I made last night with my Pink Journey Cricut Cartridge. I inked the Survivor with red because I thought that the yellow was a little bright. I popped alternating pink ribbons to give it some demention. I also put the white fun foam behind it while taking a picture to see if there is a difference. Let me know if you see one and if you think the fun foam will work.

UR Fabulous!!

Good evening everyone one,
I orginally made the fabulous section as a swap but some was returned to me because there was less people in the group then expected. So... I was thinking about what I would do with the four extras I received... make a card!!
I actually love the colours that are in the card and it is super cute. The card was made with the graphically speaking Cricut cartridge one of my favorites!

I am going to enter this card into the following challenge:

Owl Card

Good evening everyone!

I am sharing with you a card I made for a friend who lost her husband last month.  It has been really hard for her and I wanted to let her know that I am there for her,

I made the card using the Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge - love the owl on that cartridge and this was the perfect fit for this card.  I thought that the purple was perfect as it was calming and I really didn't want to have it as a sympathy card but still let her know that I am there for her.

A close up shot of the bling that was added and the stamped sentiment

Don't go

These pictures were taken many years ago when I was working one-on-one with a little guy that called me KeeKee!  He was super precious to me and I really connected when the family.  When I had to say my goodbyes to working with him his mother put this t-shirt on him.  I promised that I would stay in touch and 12 years later I now consider them to be part of my family....  his mom says now that she thinks about it the t-shirt that her son wore on my last day working with him was super mean but I know she did it because they love me!

I am entering this LO in the below challenges

Gobble

 Good afternoon everyone

Such a beautiful day outside today.  The leaves on the trees have been changing colour over the past weeks and my daughter promises that we will get to one of Hamilton beautiful parks this long weekend!!  This weekend Canada is celebrating Thanksgiving and this long weekend couldn't have come at a better time.

I have a card to share with you that I am going to give my dad tomorrow as he is hosting the annual Thanksgiving feast!!  (minus the potatoes that I will be supplying)

I just love the little turkey!!  Reminds me of a song I use to sing with the preschool children:

(sung to the more we get together)
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
Fat Turkey, Fat Turkey
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
Fat Turkey am I
I am not here for living: I'm here for Thanksgiving
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
Fat Turkey am I

A view of the inside of the card below

I used the Cricut Cartridge Animal Kingdom for the turkey.

I am going to enter my Gobble Card into the following challeges:

Skeleton Card

Good evening everyone,

Today I was sitting a home and browsing through the card making video's on youtube when I came across the   Diamond fold card and I thought to myself... that looks easy!  I can do it!!  So off to my craft room I go and I completed the card in under 1/2hr... now I wish I had more bling and different stamps for the side, maybe some cute saying stamps that would go with the skull but for my first folding card... not bad...

above is right after I finished it
 with a yellow back ground
close up shot of the stamps and stickle

I think he looks pretty cute.. not too scary at all with the bling!!

I am going to enter him into the following challenges

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
