Good evening everyone!


I have been doing the Ugly challenge on Scrapbook.com for a while now and I really enjoy the challenge of making something out of someone else ugly paper.  Two weeks ago I received my Uglies for the month of February and I must say that they are quite U-G-L-Y!!  (thanks Imelda)

told you that they were ugly.... what was she thinking.
I struggled with the Rooster/chicken for a while and the papers... aughhhh....    Finally I found a pic of a friend and her son playing around.  Her son was spiking her hair up and making her look like a rooster!  Yeah...  Kimberly 1 - uglies 0

All you need is LOVE

Good morning everyone,

Lasting Memories has another challenge today - all you need is love!  As you can tell from my LO my beautiful daughter is in love with her iPhone!  I swear it is attached to her hand - I have had these stickers in my stash for a while and I have wanted to use them... I used my gypsy to take a bite out of the apple.  I free-handed Stickles for the swirls I think they turned out pretty good.

Good evening everyone

I have made my first gate card to share.  I am actually making it for a class to show 2nd generation stamping.  I love this stamp set!!  remarkable wreath from close to my heart - it has a base for the wreath and then different things you can add to it... flowers... Christmas berries... leaves... and different banners and sayings.  so cute!!!

I lifted the banner to give it a 3D feel... so easy... love it!!!

Good Morning everyone!!

We have another challenge at Pile it On!!!  Sponsored by Stampin Boutique.  I love to get as many challenges as I can into a card.  This time I have 14 Challenges with this card.    I usually start with an image, following with theme, pic colours, a sketch and then the end with the embellishments!  I tried to pic something different than what everyone out there is doing - No Valentine's for this one!!!

what are you doing????

So I have borrowed this from others that I follow - and I thought that it would be a great idea !

Watching: Just getting ready to watch the new "Big Bang Theory"  love love love this show
Eating: fish, cucumbers and waiting for my fries to cook
Drinking: Pespi well it is that or coffee and it is too late for coffee!
Wearing: still in my work clothes - should have changed but feeling lazy
Wishing: I could be given the opportunity to win a huge amount of money so I could craft all day!
Needing: To call my family... i have been trying to remember to call at least once a week
Thinking: I might be getting early symptoms of carpal tunnel. I woke up this morning and my thumb and index finger are pretty numb. It pretty much stinks!
Worrying: about my daughter making car payments... i know... she shouldn't even have one at this age... I tried to tell her but ... you know how it is - they just don't listen
Listening: to the smoke alarm beeping... i should really get a new battery.  I thought that when they hooked it up electronically with wires it wouldn't need more batteries
Wondering: If I can clone myself to get more stuff done that i should be doing cleaning etc :)

Good evening everyone!!

I have had this mirror for quiet a while and decided it needed a face lift!

 a quick removal of the mirror and some added paint...

pretty ribbon, papers, flowers, pearls, and a beautiful daughter with her beautiful mother

and a beautiful finished product to hang in our wall!!

 This was quiet a challenge for me I am not one to play around with things that aren't broken but I really like how this turned out and I can change it around again because it just has paper that can be removed!!
