BFF - photo inspiration - Lasting memories challenge

Lasting memories has there new weekly challenge up and I am hoping you can join us.

It is my baby girl and her best friend whom she has had since she was born.... her mother and I are best friends as well!  They have moved to Alberta and we both miss them so much

I took inspiration from the floor of the picture and the flowers to create this LO  and of course said "Lucky to have you"

Fairy Sweet... Paper Piecing

Hello everyone,

So... I have been going though all the blogs and paper piecing keeps popping back up to me and it looks so cool... a technique that I haven't tried yet - so I pulled myself out of the dark ages and gave it a try with a Krafin Kimmie Stamp

 so tell me... what do you think??

 I used my CTMH stamp set to make a matching background paper.

I love how it turned out... oh yeah... can't forget about my stickles... got to love the added bling

1 Fish...

 Good morning everyone,
Usually I give all my items away and awhile ago a colleague of mine was saying that i need to make more things for boys... so I have been thinking yeah... I don't make too much for boys.  Maybe it is because I had a daughter??  who knows... anyway I have been looking for boy inspiration and found it in a couple of challenges.  I quickly made this lovely book mark.  I hope her son enjoys it! 

 Oh my... i don't think I can live with out my skickles... 

 The picture didn't pick up the embossing that well... I used the snake skin cuttlebug 

 I inked around the one fish - using ctmh stamps 

I really like how it turned out...

For the photo inspiration of course I looked at the colours, swirls and the flowers!  For the sketch I needed to turn it 

some close ups of the flowers and the liquid pearls I added to the page 

the colours are a little wanky in the pics... the all is actually more of a purple and the flowers are pink not the peachy that you see in the pic...  I need to figure out what is going on with my computer

OH my goodness... seriously my very first LO was from a creative memories class where they gave you the page and you used stickers, markers and coloured paper!

I can't believe I am showing you this...

oh... so embarrassing.  I actually even made an spelling mistake on Florida - had to use the sun to cover it.. Oh well - you learn from your mistakes.  I still can't redo my very first page because it shows just how far I have come!!
