Hey everyone... 

I am still trying to crank out those last min. Christmas cards...

so when looking for inspiration I turn to all the challenge blogs out there...

 I used close to my heart paper - left over from the Stella paper pack - If you have been following me you will know that that paper pack has gone a long way the past couple of days.  The stamp is from stampin up...isn't this monkey the cutest - i feel like a trader because it is a stampin up stamp but he was too cute - I used the paper to paper piece the stamp together... love how it turned out.

I added some bling and Viva pearl pens

I am making a gift set for my Secret Santa at work... I hope she likes it!

It will have a mix of cards with the same colours and flower but for birthday, missing you, etc... I haven't made them all yet - I am of course going to be using some challenges and sketches - so watch for them in later posts - fingers crossed I will get one a day done so she will have them all for next week :)

I hope that you have been having a great start to the holiday season... I finally was able to get up that Christmas tress yesterday!! yeah me... it will be quiet here this year... my baby moved out with her boyfriend so now it will just be me and the furbabies!  ohh well nice and quiet

this one is made with Echo park papers from last year Holly Jolly Christmas - love that set so bright and fun!!

 for my example I used Fat birdie - he has got to be the cutest little birdie you ever did see!!!

the pictures are of Grey Jays that we were feeding while in Alberta Rockie foot hills (they look like mountains to me!!!)  the white stuff in the background of the pictures looks like cloud but it is snow on the mountains and the pictures were taken in early summer - wow - yes it was cold but beautiful

Christmas is coming....

hey eveyone

as you know I am been super busy making cards - Friday night a group of us got together to make card and scrapbook - here is one of the cards... the paper was picked up from micheals (looks so much like my minds eye - i believe that they must have a deal together -isn't' the paper so pretty!!

(sorry the pictures are bad.. i took them with my iphone)

the stamp used is from the CTMH Partiridge and Pear Card making kit... seriously in love with all those stamps!!! 

of course the santa is popped up and the edge inked in cranberry.
