lots of birthday wishes

Hey everyone...

I had an opportunity to get into my craft room last night and whipped up a quick birthday card.  

The little confetti was left over from some book marks that I was punching out for work.  

I loved the bright colours and thought that it would make cute embellishments for a card. 

so... here it is

I actually used ribbon that looked like leather and paper that had lace

here is my inspiration for you...

I am starting to think that the only picutres I get now a days is my daughter at the pub!!

Fingers crossed she grows out of this stage.

the image that i used is from Simply Betty Stamps 

the challenge on FB for Simply B Stamps was to use orange, yellow and black but sadly I didn't have any soft black copics yet... so i had to use blue - but always the optimist the paper went really well.

Lasting memories have a new challenge "Stamp it with a song". We want to see a stamped image and a song title or lyric on your page.  I was going through my pictures to be inspired when i came across a pic of my daughter and her friend dressed up for a pub night and pow... the song teenage mutant ninja turtles popped into my head so... it went great with the challenge.  Here is my LO ...

Hey everyone... hope you are all doing well.

I made this card for a couple of challenges

I was thinking along the lines of Princess Birthday - or king or queen.. tried to make it unisex 

the idea to do this card was because of the challenge at CASology (link below) and of course a couple of other challenges

The crown is from cricut - embossing background and of course some bling.

Hiding in my craft room - faux linen... i thought hey i can do that... lol

LMCB - Alphabet challenge

Good morning everyone... Happy May 24!!!!  

Tomorrow we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday - as a teenager... I celebrated the fact that A- it was a day off from school and B - first long weekend of the "summer"

today at Lasting memories we have a new challenge for you to join

"Alphabet"

now the DT struggled with this one for a bit and I think that everyone took different inspiration from the alphabet.  Some picked a letter to use on the page some used reading 

Here is my inspiration and i used different coloured letters and tried to use my alphabet in a new way by cutting out the letters with my cricut and I love love love how it turned out.  seems to be the new thing to do in the scrappy world.

this is a special group of ladies from across Canada who I train with.  We all go together in Toronto for additional training and the one page was left with inspirational words from the week

this page was inspired by the following sketch from inspired blueprints

there was some turning of the sketch and flipping but the inpirations came from it... do you see it?

and page two sketch inspiration also came from inspired blue prints loved the large space at the top for everyone to write their inspirational words
