Scraptastic Club - Last September Challenge

Hello eveyone...

I'm am participating in a challenge from Scraptasic Club - their last one in September... I know October 4th and I am finishing up challenges from September.  I have given up trying to get everyone's challenge complete, there is just so much inspiration out there that I can't help but want to join them all.  

So getting back to the Scraptastic Challenge.  I have joined their monthly kit club and love what I have been receiving so far!!!  So because of that I am going to make it a priority to complete all their challenges so you can see the wonderful kits they have to offer.  

The challenge was a recipe challenge:  I was to use 3 cardstock (pink behind patterned paper, green in the 19 and black in the journal box) 4 patterned papers, 3 alphas, 2 pictures, 5 buttons, 1 banner, 1 journal spot and paint.

here are some close ups of  the Layout and to show what I used - the banner (which came from one of the Scraptastic kits)  and two of the alphas the green and the pink

Hey everyone, 

I hope you are having a great weekend.  I know it is National card day but the paper I received from the Scraptasitc kit for September inspired me to complete a LO that I have been wanting to do.  My daughter loves to take pictures of herself - these ones were done with the computer and she was trying on a pair of dress up glasses.

I have a really hard time scrapping about my self or with my own personal pictures but a couple of challenges really took me out of my comfort zone to get this LO. I am actually really happy with the way it turned out. I don't have the best hand writting so Iwill give you a close up shot of the journaling as well.

Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump

Alberta - Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump

I was lucky to go to "Head-Smashed-In" Buffalo Jump on National Aboriginal Day.  The day was filled with the local Aboriginal group in full dress!!!  I was also privileged to front row seats of their amazing and colourful dances.

Good morning everyone,

here is a LO that I completed with my August Scraptastic Club Kid featuring Basic Grey "Out of Print".  I always loved these pictures of my daughter when she was younger.  I used my Cricut for the frames.  I am still trying to figure out what I am going to write in the journal so for the time it will remain blank until that perfect quote or saying pops into my heart.

Do it again...

Good evening everyone,

 I was busy at a crop last night and made this LO from pictures of my self when I was only six or seven?  Not 100% sure.  They are of my dad raking the leaves and then dumping them on me...  then I would yell "Do it again!!"  I have fond memories of the smell and crispness in the air.

Forgotten

Start of September and trying to get some Lo's completed :)

This one is for my daughter.  It is of her father's wedding.  She looked beautiful with her baby brother and older sister.  I made it for My Craft spot challenge (i know it says a friend but these pictures took over when I was making it) I also made it because it has my favorite pics of my DD - the paper variety: celebration day 3 challenge.

and the last one is of Mystere - saw it in Vegas!!! loved it and so glad I went.  they didn't allow cameras in the theater so I did the page from post cards :)

Happy Grandparents Day

So this coming weekend is Grandparents day and it should be a special one for my dad as he just co-signed a car loan for my beautiful DD!!!  I know... 19 and getting her own car!!!!  Well she has a plan all set up with payments etc.  fingers crossed it will turn out for her.  I know that with school and working she won't have time to make my dad a card so I took the liberty to help her out.  The card was made for two challenges 

• Circut 360 Challenge #10 Grandparents
• Bitten by the Bug 2 Dripping heart challenge (I don't have rock princess but used Wild Cards)
• The paper variety - use a stamp 

the family around the card was stamped with a clear stamp I got in the cheap bin at Micheals

Venice

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope that everyone is having a great long weekend!  The weather here isn't the best; cloudy and on and off raining but a perfect day for scrapin!  I actually have spent a ton of time on Pisca because I lost a couple of pictures and for some reason it is doubling up my pictures that are on the camera card?  Not sure how that happened?  Well I finally was able to crop the photos of the two LO's I completed  both are for challenges on  www.scrapbook.com. 

The is one is of the Grand Canal - One of the most amazing places I have been.  I was so jet lagged when I got there that my daughter took most of the pictures but she did a great job. 

This page is for the Bridge of Sighs - named because the convicts would sigh as they had their last view of Venice before death or prison.

Good Evening everyone,
I made this card for a couple of challenges posted

• bitten by the bug.  I didn't have the curly tree so I used the one on the mini monsters cartridge.
• Die Cuttin Divas asked for fall colours - The yellow, orange and red remind me of the leaves in the fall.  I am so excited to have fall come (my favorite time of the year) 
• More than Favors: Wacky Wednesday - Halloween 
• Fantabulous Cricut - use yellow (moon)

The bat is stamped and the tree has also been stickled.  I hope you like it :)
