nana and papa

hello my bloggy friends...
I made this LO using my Close to my heart Philosophy cart - if you are interested in purchasing one (you will loved it!!) click on my button on the sidebar.
This is two pics of my and my Nana and Papa when I was approx. 4 or 5 at the cottage. Seriously I had to bath in the kitchen sink we didn't have a tub - it was either that or the lake and in the early summer or late summer... too cold. I have since lost both of my grandparents and have very fond memories of them from the cottage.

Brrr...

Ok... with the snow on its way the challenge from totally paper crafts was the perfect challenge to use a snowflake I received in a swap from Charcats (scrapbook.com)

Big Smooches

I was so excited tonight.. i had a surprise waiting for me after work - I recieved my Simply B Stamps that I won... oh so excited to use them!  Let the dog out and then locked myself in my craft room with the stamps.  I also just purchased my first couple of Copic markers and was itching to give them a try!  So with out delay...

Gratitude

Good afternoon everyone..
Sorry for the pictures but I had to use my iPhone as my DD has taken possession over the computer... got to love teenagers!  I have been involved in a swap on scrapbook.com and Cassondra made the little green frog for me in that swap.  Isn't he the cutest little frog going!!  Love the frog. I made this for a supervisor who has really stepped it up this past week helping me with a center that has a supervisor that became ill. 

I used pink card stock, fuchsia stampin up paper and then white card stock.  On the white I used my stamps to create the flower pattern paper.  Love how it turned out!  The green brads and grey and green vellum (that I received from a RAK) worked perfect  for the vellum saying. I don't use velum much but this turned out amazing!

My DD Sarah made her first card with the cricut. Isn't it so cute. It was also my first time making a cut in the middle of the card.

November Uglies
