Hey everyone...

One again I was inspired by a bunch of challenges, and made a quick card

I hope you like it and are inspired to make one of your own...

I used a really cute digi "Snow bunny" from Meljen designs 

 added some ribbon, some snow flakes and bling

Good morning to you... good morning to you! Where all in our places with bright shiny faces and this is the way we start our new day.... 

Ok.. flash backs from when I was working in the classroom

so to win some of these stamps you need to make something crafty but the challenge is to make it black and white plus a touch of another colour!!!  here is my inspiration for you...

the digi that I used i believe was a freebie that I found on their site over a year ago.  I haven't had a chance to use it but this was a perfect challenge for it!!!

I used my Cuttle bug zebra folder with CTMH black card stock but it has a beautiful white core that i sanded.   Add some red embossing, bling, scrap ribbon and tada... a beautiful birthday card (inside reads - today is your birthday

Here is some inspiration for you...

 

The family took a long trip up to Thornbury to attend my aunts 60th birthday both my daughter and step mom feel alseep in the car.... and of course I had my camera so perfect opportunity!!!  I struggled with this challenge because I love so many books...

Products used:  jillibean soup- coconut lime soup,  simple stories- fabulous letters, My minds Eye - dolled up rub on, Americian Craft -dear lizzy  Neapolitan lucky laugh and the little swirls were from CTMH stamps.

Raising the Bar - Guest Bar-tender

Hello everyone 

I have been asked to be a guest bar-tender at Raising the bar!!! 

I was given this amazing sketch to work with 

here is my inspiration for the sketch - of course for new years.  

I gave the card to my dear friend that invited me to her house for the night. So much fun and she loved the card!

the ribbon was from a gift i received at Christmas and couldn't bare to part with it

the stamp i used is from stampin bella

I added a bit of liquid glass for the glasses and the wine bottle 

and my CTMH pen to colour and write the sentiment

it's it adorable!!

I used all my old scrap paper and this digi made them look amazing!

I also used my new die cut to cut it out and then sponged while it was still on - loved this idea thanks so much for the technique Jessie (there she goes clear stamps)

The little chicks have been paper pieced (putting my new printer into use )

I used my your next stamps and fiskars embossing plates

believe it or not there are three different ribbons in there.

2013!

2013

wow.. another year - and I am still crafting away..

I have decided that I needed to document my new years resolutions. 

here is my layout...

Don't you just love those butterflies??  I actually reused the butterflies from a dinner I went to.  They had the butterflies on a clothes peg that was for a game. I am thinking that a scraper helped organize the games for the event - anyway i wanted to reuse them and they were just throwing them out so i wish now that i had taken more - they are adorable!!

My resolutions are:

1-take time for myself - take lunch at work and time to pamper my self 

(goal is at least once a month)

2- keep in touch with family and friends not just during holidays or special occasions

3- make a budget and follow it
