Good evening everyone...
Lasting memories has a new challenge "Digging for Metal" - Use some kind of metal on your layout - ideas: tgs, staples, brads... and I used eyelets. I went to Micheals today to buy an eyelet punch kit. So this is my first layout using it.. love how it turned out! I have been putting off completeing this LO because I don't have many pictures of my mom... and these ones have her second husband in them. (of course they are their wedding day pics) Since her death (10 months after their wedding) I don't talk at all to her husband... you could say he was a bit of a jerk to me and my brother when we were only 18 and 14. But I do love the pics of her and the paper is so pretty.
thanks so much for stopping by...
I would love to enter this LO into the following challenges:
lets get sketchy - black, white and one other colour
crafty boots - yellow
paper sundae - mother's
just add ink - mother's
Sending hearts...
Great layout! Thanks for playing allong with Let's Get Sketchy!

ReplyDeleteGreat layout, love the colours! Thanks for joining in the fun at LGS!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you lost your mom at such a young age and under such hard circumstances. I love the yellow paper and the way you opened it up and used the eyelets and the under paper. Glad you were able to scrap these.
ReplyDeleteLovely layout. The way you used the eyelets is great.

"Less is More" is a challenge solely for Clean and Simple crafting, which of course is much more difficult to achieve with scrapbook pages compared to cards. We like to see areas of white space, minimal layering and few embellishments.
ReplyDeleteYour LO is great but does have quite a few elements and no white space.
The pictures must hold bitter-sweet memories for you... I do like your use of the eyelets by the way.
Do join us again for another clean and simple challenge!
Thanks so much
Chrissie
