Artful delight guest

I can't tell you how lucky I was to have won last month at Artful Delight!!  

what amazing kits they have for both card making and scrapbooking.  It took me forever to decide which one to go with... there was one thing that swayed me to the card kit... the stamps from Paper Smooches and the ones from Lawn fawn that did it... I have always wanted to try out their stamps and yep I am hooked.. lol

here are the cards that I have made so far with the kit... and I haven't even made a dent!!

the above one I posted on Sunday but still had to show case it again!!

I used the lawn fawn stamps

and the one below was with the paper smooches... so cute!!

here you can see the gold embossing I did with the stamps

the gold CAS one below I made for my boss's boss who lost her mother in law last week.

It still has the fall feel to it but yet simple and elegant with some paper piecing of the flower

Hey everyone..

I am so lucky... I won at Artful delight and in the kit this month they had Lawn fawn stamps

I have always wanted to give them a try... yeah me... or should I say boo me... now I want more because they are just too darn cute!! 

this card is the happy feast stamp set and I used the below photo as inspiration or pinspiration!  lol

there is a challenge going on a lawnscaping that I would love to enter... you never know I just might be the lucky one to get some more stamps with out causing total havoc on my craft budget!

I would love to be able to tell you exactly where the paper is from but... It all came from my stash - sometimes with the kit I get I I have scrap in the kit but I have lost the name - boo

anyhoo... the LO is about me when I was younger and my dad would lie on the floor - I would stand on his hands and he would lift me up... wow... in my eyes he was the strongest man in the world -I tell you though... I must have had good balance!!  Cheerleader in the making!

stickles on the goo... and an old fiskar rubbing plate for the hair with pencil crayons \

Wedding card for Chris and Sally

Hey everyone!!

I made this card for my cousin Chris and his fiancee's wedding... I hope they like it !

all products are close to my heart! except for the cuttle bug embossing

and the inside - this was the first time that i tried to do a bling swirl on my own!!  what do you think?  little yes but it is always in baby steps - lol

items used - for always paper pack, perfect fit frames, artiste, sparkles flourishes, sparkles clear, clear embossing powder, and the black ribbon was from my stash!

Cool Yule with MFT and basic grey

Hey everyone 

I am starting to get my Christmas card started and I found a bunch of challenges that fired me up!!

Here is my card....

I used paper from basic grey that has been in my stash for ever!!!  Lol. More like since 2010 since that is the date on the paper.  I also used MFT "cool Yule". The tag and snowflakes were cut out with the artbooking cartridge.   Seriously I don't think I used any other carts at all!!

The merry Christmas banner at the bottom is an old CTMH stamp

I paper pieced the bear, ice, scarf, and ice cube.   Added stickles to the cube and snowflake stamps to the scarf and used an old embossing rub on thing for the snow flake background

ok... so Hambo hoedown has a challenge going on to use velum... that was very difficult for me... i only have a couple of velum sentiments and none of which would go with my images... i took my hole punch and started to punch... i think the velum bubbles turned out pretty good!

the card actually looks so much nicer in person... i think i need to start working on my photography skills
